f60gen equalent in R12

Posted on September 6, 2007. Filed under: R12 |

I was wondering what was the equalent of f60gen to compile a form in R12. Oracle forums provided me with the answer and i thought i would share it with all.

Use the following syntax to generate any form in R12.

$ frmcmp_batch module=<path to the fmb file> userid=apps/<apps pwd> output_file=<path to the fmx file> compile_all=special batch=yes

As you can see , the syntax is pretty much the same as in 11i

Hope this helps.

It will not work straughtforward using
frmcmp.sh to compile instead use a terminal emulation software like exceed and also inside the
frmcmp.sh script make entry for

NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P1;
export NLS_LANG then it will alow to
compile in R12
